Built for hanging out.
A heated pool, a 24/7 hot tub, fire pits under the pines, the new bar, and a Village four minutes by foot. Everything you'd hope a Big Bear basecamp would be.
A four-minute walk to the Village. Three to the lake.
The Burgundy sits in the heart of Big Bear Lake — close enough to walk anywhere worth walking, far enough that the pines do the talking after dark. The mountain is a mile and a half up the road for ski days; the lake is three blocks down for swims.

Fire Pits · Nightly
Crackling until the wood runs out — including our signature boat-firepit. Guests gather, strangers swap stories, the dog falls asleep at someone's feet.

Heated Pool
Open through the chill of autumn. A laid-back deck under the pines — no pool-bar attendant, no clipboard.

Hot Tub · 24/7
Late-night soak after a day on the mountain. Bring a towel, bring a drink from the bar.
Outdoor pool deck and outdoor hot tub photography still in production — current shots show our boat-firepit and the in-room stone spa tub.

The Bar.
A live-edge slab counter, brass fixtures, velvet stools in caramel and forest green, and a custom amber pendant that turns dusk into showtime. We tore out the old kitchenette and built something that lingers.
Open Thursday through Sunday from 5pm. Craft beer, a serious wine list, and cocktails built on house bitters. Open to guests and locals both.
The everyday details.
Pet friendly
Bring the dog — all sizes, all breeds. We don't charge a pet fee on every room. Ask Frank when you book about the specific room policy.
Free WiFi
Property-wide. Fast enough for the work-from-cabin crowd, calm enough that you'll close the laptop by sundown.
Free parking
On-site, no fees, no validation games. Pull in, park, leave the keys in the room.
Breakfast
A daily morning spread for guests — pastries, fruit, fresh coffee, and the kind of weekday yogurt parfait you don't get out of bed for anywhere else.
Vinyl lounge
Records spin nightly. Bring an album if you want it played — we have an unwritten rule about side B.
Check-in · 4pm
Check-out · 11am. Early check-in is possible if the room is ready — text the front desk before you head up.
A museum, but cozier.
Every room is finished with a different combination of curated mid-century pieces, vintage finds, and commissioned art from local makers. Stained-glass windows, brass sconces, terracotta tile, bouclé chairs, gold lamps, woven tapestries — none of it shipped from a catalog.
If you fall in love with something on the wall, ask Frank. We'll tell you the story.
Come hang out among the pines.
Fourteen room types. One bar. A whole lot of fire pit.
